B5 Systems SOPMOD Bravo Stock

The Bravo is an offshoot of the Enhanced SOPMOD stock with a few differences:

-No battery storage
-Lighter (10.25 vs 8.25oz)
-Different adjustment lever (I actually like this one more)
-Greater angle on the rear of the stock

Pros:
-Very snug fit; almost like it has a friction lock (it doesn't, just trying to describe it)
-Cost.   It feels like a high quality stock but it's priced around $60
-The cheek weld is very comfortable and repeatable
-Available in multiple colors and patterns
-Has a built in anti-rotation QD socket

Cons:
-Availability.   Good luck finding one in stock these days.

Here's a video with some shooting, a comparison with the Magpul MOE & STR stocks, and a quick discussion of my findings so far with it:

  1. Hey man, love your stuff. Gonna go ahead and post this here since I'm not sure where else to do it.

Do you think you could do a video covering the ergonomics of supporting an AR with your off-hand, and go over some of the different styles that guys use? In the process, could you cover the difference between different foregrips like the AFG, the MOE stubby vertical grip, full-sized vertical grip, small hand-stops on the rails, etc? It would really help a lot of us new guys out!

Thanks and keep up the good work

  2. I've got good news and bad news there for you. Good news---I've already shot that video. Bad news---it's on a hard drive that is not functioning and is back at the factory for repair with no word as to whether or not they can fix it. Hopefully they will. If not, I'll re-shoot it.
